      Wedge flow meters are mainly used for flow measurement of high viscosity (heavy oil, residual oil, diesel, engine oil, etc.), industrial gases, hydrogen, nitrogen, air, water vapor, sewage, etc.

The wedge-shaped flowmeter has a simple structure, no moving parts, and is prone to fluid wear. Its performance is stable and reliable, and its service life is long; Its specific components are equipped with a pressure measuring device, which is not trapped or blocked by liquid, and is formed by small pressure loss. It is an ideal low Reynolds number high-precision flow measurement. Wedge flowmeter is a new type of flowmeter that has been gradually used since the 1980s. The test piece is a V-shaped wedge with a smooth downward angle at the top, which is conducive to the smooth passage of liquids or viscous liquids. It contains suspended particles and will not cause hysteresis on the upstream side of the throttle. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for measuring volumetric and mass flow rates in the petroleum and chemical industries.

The main characteristics of wedge flow meters are:

4. Permanent pressure loss is smaller than orifice plate.
