When there is airflow flowing in the pipe, the windward side is impacted by the airflow, where the kinetic energy of the airflow is converted into pressure energy. Therefore, the pressure inside the windward pipe is relatively high, which is called "full pressure". The pressure inside the windward side is called "static pressure" due to not being impacted by the airflow, and the pressure inside the pipe is called "static pressure". The difference between total pressure and static pressure is called differential pressure, Its size is related to the wind speed inside the pipe, and the higher the wind speed, the greater the differential pressure; The wind speed is small, and the differential pressure is also small. The relationship between wind speed and differential pressure conforms to the Bernoulli equation.

The flute tube installed in the pipeline can measure the average airflow velocity in one go. The double flute shaped tube is a combination of a full pressure measuring tube and a static pressure measuring tube, with a row of full pressure measuring holes on the upstream surface of the full pressure tube and a row of static pressure measuring tubes on the back of the static pressure tube.
The principle of the backrest tube is similar to that of the pitot tube, and the dynamic pressure value is obtained by measuring the difference between the total pressure and static pressure. It has dynamic pressure amplification properties and needs to be calibrated before use.
Double Venturi Velocimetry Tube:
Used for measuring the air supply and flue gas flow rate of power plant boilers;
The results are simple;
The pressure loss is small, accounting for only about 1% of the generated differential pressure volume;
The requirements for straight pipe sections are not strict;
The dynamic pressure amplification factor is the highest, several times or even more than ten times that of the pitot tube and averaging tube devices;
Each double venturi tachometer is calibrated before leaving the factory, with a testing report attached. After installation, there is generally no need to perform on-site calibration.
