Venturi desuperheater: the high-temperature steam is introduced into the venturi tube from the inlet end of the desuperheater, and the water is injected from the nozzle at the throat of the desuperheater to form a mist and fully mix with the high-speed steam flow, and then through a certain length of casing to draw out the desuperheater from the other end. The water thus injected absorbs heat from the superheated steam and turns it into steam, lowering its temperature. Due to the high quality requirements for the desuperheating water, some boilers use self-made condensed water as the desuperheating water source. But feed water quality of modern high parameter boiler is very high, so the venturi desuperheater is widely used as the boiler feed water source, and greatly simplify the equipment system.
